It’s Mother’s Day weekend — you didn’t forget, did you? Fortunately, the Hershey-Harrisburg region is booming with special events to honor your mother this Sunday. Whether mom prefers the classic brunch or exploring with the family, we have an event for you! 
To Eat
If your mom is anything like mine, something titled “Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch” is right up her alley. Why not toast mom with something sparkly? Check this out at the Best Western Premier the Central Hotel in Harrisburg.
Mother’s Day Brunch at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center features an extensive buffet-style brunch menu. Plus, you can add flowers to Mom’s table for just $12!
The Hilton Harrisburg offers a variety of choices on how to celebrate Mom, from brunch at Raspberries to jazz, wine and cheese at The Bar.
The Holiday Inn Harrisburg Hershey also hosts a classic Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, as does the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey, the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg and the Holiday Inn Harrisburg East.
El Sol in Harrisburg starting serving brunch this year — highly recommended by me — especially if Mom enjoys a good Bloody Mary. Here she can make her own with quality ingredients! On Mother’s Day, all mothers can receive a complimentary mimosa with brunch.
Mount Hill Tavern also will be serving a special Mother’s Day menu on Sunday.
In Hershey, families can enjoy a Mother’s Day Buffet at Lebbie Lebkicher’s or check out the Mother’s Day Brunch in the Chocolate Ballroom at the Hershey Lodge.

Take Mom for a unique museum experience at The Hershey Story — admission is free for mothers on Sunday.
Moms also enter free at AACA Museum — the first 100 entrants will also receive a complimentary rose.
Treat your mother to one of the first cruises of the season aboard The Pride of the Susquehanna. This special Mother’s Day Cruise includes dinner, live music and a scenic tour of the river and City of Harrisburg.
On Sunday, challenge mom (or entertain the family) with half-price miniature golf at Challenge Family Fun Center.
Mothers get free admission to Hershey Gardens on Mother’s Day!
Get crafty at the Turkey Hill Experience. Moms get a $7 discount — create a flower for Mother’s Day (and enjoy some ice cream!).
